ok so prior to owning my car for a few weeks teh gearbox went boom
note. i have had my car for about 4 months now







if you didnt notice its fucked
the metal shavings etc exploded

prior to this happening i wasnt driving my brother was -.-"

just want to see peoples pov / reactions

What happened

took off in first
hit second gear
went to third

popped out wouldnt go back into any gear would just grind.
whole thing just locked up and was beyond repair

Wait... what? BEFORE you owned your car, the tranny blew?

Gonna read that as a typo, since it makes more sense. Is it in your budget to replace it? If not, time to part it out / sell it as a project, imo.

yea i guess it was a typo lol, i mean couple weeks after i brought it that happened >.<

alreayd 2nd hand tranny in it atm
got it fixed asap

my moms car just had a tranny issue.

That's a sad story. But at least it's not a zx-2. We couldn't keep a transmission in that beer can at any speed over 30.
