I have 3 tires that are 205/40z /r17
and one that is 205/40/17

will that 1 different tire effect the 4wd system or throw out the gearbox? (just heard if a tire is different it can damage things)

the second number in a tire size is the height of the sidewall in comparison to the width of the tire ( so 40%)

the Z is the the speed rating - and R is radial


so to answer your question, they are the same physical size tire and wont effect your drive system at all.

just that if you go 190mph, and all yur tires blow except the the zr tire, well, thats why lol.

Yea, he has a lot of experience with it. Has to be sure and get the correct speed rating in his race cars. And that charger will totally break 190, so gotta go with the z rated all the way around.
