It's been done. It's not a honda swap by any means but its a mechanical motor... Now if you want to start getting into making all of the factory jeep guages work like stock, thats where money gets higher. If you dont give a fuck and throw in some random guages its not very bad at all. Make sure he wants to swap a 4BT. a 5.9 or 6.7 will KILL the front end of that poor thing. the 4bt will be heavy for it as it is.
edit-- The motor swap itself is easy, yes. The rest of the drivetrain in ANYTHING other then a truck, will fucking suck ass. we had the motor swapped and running in 6 hours on the 86 ram charger. took 2 1/2 weeks for the rest of the fab for trans, axles, suspension, etc...
