In the classic years of the mustangs, especially the early 70's, would this be even remotely worth it? I absolutely love the body style from this era, but pushing 140 horsepower stock is very undermining..

The 70s were not good to mustangs, look for an earlier one.

That's a nice looking mustang, minus the 350 body stuff.

66s are a good year, retain value well. It also looks very taken care of.

Edit: I see paint bubbles on the passenger side front fender, probably rust.

The door too, that whole side looks messed up. Might be worth looking at, but I wouldn't pay 11k for it.

I'd consider it except for one very important question... Why was the entire front end replaced?

You want the 351...I would recommend being very patient and finding a good base to rebuild from...what are you looking for from this mustang? (Project/ready to drive/daily?)

I'm in Houston too by the way. Buddy of mine has a 1970Fastback and its been a curse and money pit but still fun Etc.

Gonna be a daily driver, for sure. As long as it's drive-able, looks nice, I can deal with it. I'm not too knowledge knowing on cars, but I figured a classic car would be a good place to learn some here and there information.
