First problem shouldn't be related but kinda curious what might have caused it...
AT Shifter - Super loose/easily shifts between Neutral and Drive gears. That started happening yesterday. Doesn't effect driving, just weird..

Today driving home CEL comes on and when I get to the next stop sign, Revs got up to about 2500 and very slowly started to accelerate as if it was starting in like 3rd gear. Once I start getting a little speed it shifts normal.
P0730 = Incorrect Gear Ratio

Been researching and it seems it's an internal problem and in most cases requires a rebuild/replace. I know multiple honda models have transmission recalls but idk if mine would be covered under anything. So not sure if I should bring it to honda or a transmission shop. Been putting off changing the timing belt which is a $650 fix. Don't know if I want to put all this money into the car.

There is a recall on 98-01 accord trannys, with that being a common problem. Even it's a yr 2000, take it to the dealer where they may be able to work something out with you.

You don't want to pay for transmission issues if you don't have to as they can be very expensive.

Very expensive indeed.

Transmission jobs + blown head gaskets are f*ckin' expensive to repair.

Still need to call around to local shops to check pricing.. but I honestly don't know if I should put the money into it.. but idk what i'd do with it if I didn't fix it. Doubt i'd be able to sell as is for anything.
