Hey guys I found me a nice 2003 Dodge 1500 ST Black

Was wondering what you guys thought...very clean truck 130,000 miles... they are askin 4,700 ( im on a tight budget for sure )

Seems fair, any opinions? I need gas eco and of course a truck to haul my toys in !

MANUAL Drive and will be first standard ive owned if i buy. ( i know how to drive em don't hate )

What kind of toys do you have. Going that cheap it would be difficult to get a full size quality truck that will last IMO.

It's a stick. Nothing to worry about... The nv4500 had issues with the nut on 5th gear backing off but thats an easy fix.

I'm guessing this truck is a v6, maybe a 4.7L. Either way, not enough power to self destruct a tranny if you tried to.

oh yeah i read that and completely forgot lol. a guy i know used to have a late 90s 1500 with a 5 speed and the 318. he had some fat tires on it and bottomed both axles out on a rut when we went four wheeling one night lol.

Still a high mileage gas dodge, trans issues or not.

Shoot for 4k, put the other 700 back for incidentals, as they inevitably arise with high mileage vehicles. Otherwise, look for something else.
