Factoring in price of gas/depreciation or transport, it is really worth the difference in money for taxes?

You can register it temporarily to drive it back, you'll have to provide your broker with an out of province inspection within a week.

Its a more thorough inspection than the normal vehicle inspection required for cars 10+ years old, easiest place to get one done if you don't have a mechanic friend would be Canadian tire. Yeah thats all you need to get it registered.

I have a guy rhat does all my safety work, hes not nit picky
Ok. So i buy the truck, get temps to bring it to ontairo, and just bring it to my mechanic get the out of province inspection and thats it? It comes safetied im sure, is that ticket still valid??
I thought it would be harder than that, what about taxes? I got my girlfriend to do SOME research , and she says i pay ablertas 5% than the rest when i get back to ontairo, ya?

Buy the truck
Register it
Take it to your guy, with an out of province inspection sheet from your agency.
Have him do it.
Take it back
Done.

You just have to have to get it safetied in Ontario and maybe pay the PST on it.

I'm not sure about the PST and if you would have to but I think a safety inspection here in Sask is about 100$
