do you turn the throttle (give it some gas) before you reach the friction zone or after? (will this avoid the bike from stalling?)
also once you have the throttle on and have the bike moving, can you let go of the clutch as fast as you want? or will it stall?
thanks

im new so im also just learning. but you can do either with the throttle before or after. if you do it before it gives you a faster start and sometimes when youre on a slope you need to give it gas when letting go of your clutch.
after the clutch catches, you can let go as fast as you want

give it a little throttle while letting out on the clutch slowly. if you do it correctly it will be very smooth. you'll feel when the bike starts to move so its pretty easy to do.

if you twist the throttle and let the clutch out instantly...well you are probably going to be picking the bike up off the ground...along with yourself.

you do it exactly like you do a car with a manual transmission. the only difference is using your hand to operate the clutch. if you let off too fast though instead of spinning tires like in a car you are going to pop a wheelie and more than likely wreck it.

its one of those things you will either learn the hard way or easy way... practice your friction zone you don't need throttle to get most bikes going just the friction zone. as you get used to it you can start rolling on the throttle a little more.

It's something you can only explain or teach to a certain point. Subwoofer explained it the best you can imo. Every bike is different. You just have to learn, yourself.

just ride around your neighborhood a few times till you get the hang of it.

its something you have to personally learn, hard to explain it.

I taught my old lady on a 86 kawi 125 cc 2 stroke, was a bag of shit and hard for anyone to hop on and get the hand of it
If she can do it in the matter of a day you can too

I gas it before the friction zone. Less chance of killing the engine that way.
