I know fuckall about these, is it overly difficult to make the switch from factory to hid assemblies in an older truck (94 f150). Apparently these things don't come with instructions so if it's quite the process I'll probably have to pay to get it done.

You're better off paying or taking a lot of time to retrofit them.

Do it the right way or don't do it at all. Especially with big lamps like those, the light from an HID will look gaudy and just go everywhere.
