I'm losing a lot of oil, not sure about the milage:volume ratio that I'm losing but it's probably close to a quart per 800 miles.

Anyways, some sources have said it might be the PCV valve that is failing and thus letting oil burn off. There is no oil leak to speak of, so it is just burning off.

I'm using high grade 5w-30 synthetic oil, so that's not the problem. Just put a new filter in as well.

If anyone has any insight or information on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Does the car smoke at all? How much mileage is on the motor?

The pcv is pretty cheap.. Might as well replace it.

If it's up in mileage top it off every now and then and drive it till she blows up.

No smoke? You sure you don't have a leak somewhere? Do you have spots on the driveway?

Also check the valve cover (common on Honda's), all gaskets and seals.

Will do!
and I'm positive there are no drips, and no smoke.

Any drips there are, are few and far between. not nearly enough to amount to the oil I'm losing.

Thats the problem.

10w40 non synthetic is the solution.
