Alright so i could be better off just keeping my car the way it is, but i want it a lil faster and smoother i guess, and i have some money to spend at the moment. I own a 2008 Dodge Avenger sxt 173-hp, 2.4-liter. Ive been looking around but idk what to get, i'm not a real hands on person with cars, i just don't know what and where to get stuff from. So what i'm looking for is basic stuff to make my car performance increase, anything and everything, cool air intake, exhaust system, programmer/chip. so any help would be appreciated.

Just keep it stock and continue regular maintenance.

Well i already do this, just want a lil more out of it. Like whats the ups and downs, i don't plan on getting a new vehicle any time soon. so i wanted to put some money into it.

Edit* Maintenance that is, i have my step pap to help me.. lol.

Okay well im not selling my car lol, i live in michigan where the weather sucks and the avenger has done better than any car ive drivin up here in the winter, so, keep on the topic.

avengers are kind of shitty

Had it for quiet some time now and have had absolutely zero problems for an every day driver.

The best way to make a bad car good is to do an engine swap.

Buy a new engine, like a SRT10 5.8L viper block for example, and take that great engine, and put it into your dodge avenger.

ta-da! now you have the worst dodge viper and the best dodge avenger ever!

Obviously never driven an awd car lol

Coming from someone who had an evo, never buy an evo.


Anything you do to it you are not going to notice a performance difference unless you boost it. If you want it louder or something just go to an exhaust shop and get an axle back put on.
