I saw that this morning too, damn shame.

i switched my sirius radio over to nascar channel this morning to catch up on anything that happened the past few days and saw the title that read jason leffler 1975-2013 and was like wtf and had to google it real quick. gonna be a shitty fathers day for his young son

5 years old, leffler was a great guy, met him quite a few times at the race track, he was a great father, loved that kid it was cool to watch them together at the track

yeah that seems to be the prevailing theme from all the drivers and people that knew him well was how much he loved his son.

I'm not familiar with the sprint car scene, but that sucks. RIP.

these run 410ci engines with around 900 or so horsepower i believe. koj can give a little more accurate hp numbers im sure.

depends how big of a team you are/how much money you are spending

900 is the good/professional teams that do it for a living typical for your average ascs/usac/outlaws guys that



75-800 hp is probably what the more weekly guys run, less $ to keep it running

I still remember sitting there with him at trophy cup last year hanging out, being one of the most genuine dudes that's on the larger scale/more popular guys
