They sell premeasured rubber hoses for heater cores at O'reilly for 8 bucks. Takes 20 minutes to replace if you don't know what you're doing.
If you measure the hose and have them cut it off a roll it's cheaper.
/edit: You should also check the flow on your heater core. Last time this happened to my sister-in-law her boyfriend replaced the hose twice before he figured out it was busting from back pressure and over-heating.
