Any way to plug a small hole in a hose. Its the heater core one and a bitch to get to.

Yikes...the only real way to patch the core tubing is by brazing...unless the leak is in the fins. Then just radiator stop leak that shiz.



But before you ruin your carpet start planning out a new coolant hose route to bypass the core. Until you figure out what you want to do

I don't think its the core it self, hes saying its the one that runs to the core


and while yes they may be a pain in the ass, its split/cracked/leaking for a reason, it needs REPLACED

that would make way too much sense and be too easy to fix though

They sell premeasured rubber hoses for heater cores at O'reilly for 8 bucks. Takes 20 minutes to replace if you don't know what you're doing.

If you measure the hose and have them cut it off a roll it's cheaper.

/edit: You should also check the flow on your heater core. Last time this happened to my sister-in-law her boyfriend replaced the hose twice before he figured out it was busting from back pressure and over-heating.
