No turn signals and no running lights

Steps so far
> taped up wires that were touching (turn signal wires)
> replaced 10a "Acc" fuse
> signals started working, but still no running lights
> fuse blew again on the way home
> back to no signals or running lights

Sounds like the ground on the frame is either loose or non existent. I'd trace the ground and go from there.

wouldn't that cause all of the fuses to blow, or other electrical problems?

Not sure of the exact bike you have, but some of the more stupid bikes, like Buell, have been known to have a few grounds throughout the bike.

A friend had this issue on his not too long ago (Harley) and it ended up being a loose ground that was partially corroded (YAY for sea spray)
