i got 2005 pontiac g5 ( pursuit ) 2.2 eco . I cant find a cai ( cold air intake ) for this thing to save my life. So, i realized i should look for one for a 2005 chevy cobalt 2.2 eco....
same shit right? a guy from local dealer calls me and says he found me a cai, but doesnt know if it will fit.
the cars 8 years old ffs, him or his 'supplier' so called have never herd of anyone els trying to do this.

I dont see why it wouldnt.... exactly the same car just with different names on the front, even the wheel base etc is the same.
so?? any more info on this a huge +

e/ and yes i do have a flowmaster catback exhaust already put on ( throttle body spacer soon to come ) , some 17" low pro's, and 2 12" jackhammers. I want a dam CAI to give this thing a little more life

And the CAI i found, cheapest but also happens to be top of the line, K&N wants $400 after taxes, im ok paying that but if it doesnt fit hes gunna charge me a shitload to ship it back....

why are u going to get a throttle body spacer it will do no good at all considering its a plastic intake manifold and its not throttle body injection or carbed.
and all intakes for the 2.2 and 2.4 motor are the same just cant use any of 2.0 super or turbo ones

but thats what im saying. its exactly the same motor and everything els under the hood. it SHOULD fit WITHOUT any issues IMO ...

u dont need any more insight if its made for the 2.2 or 2.4 NA motor it will fit period if it uses the stock air box where the filter sits now like the gmpp intake dose varies
