I might be getting a new car but I'm undecided on what I want. I'm don't plan on doing any racing so I'm not looking for an evo or anything like that.

Fuel efficiency is a big part of what I'm looking for, plus just overall quality.

2 cars I've been looking into are the 2010 lancer es and 2010 honda civic lx.

Which is the better car and can you recommend something better in the same price range.

2013 nissan versas start $12000 brand new.

this is good for a budget but I'm not sure how good they are for "quality"...however I've never driven one.

if you like lancers there is a nice 10th anniversary lancer right now that comes loaded with a bunch of features for a good price. might be something worth looking into if you can scrounge a few more scheckels

lancer es and civic lx are good choices for a reliable, comfortable, efficient car. I have a personally liking for the Mazda 6 as well.

If it came down just the 2 you were thinking of, I'd go with the Lancer.
