If my bike is sitting at idle my battery shows a 12.5-12.9, but when I put on some rpms it will drop and stay around 12.4-12-5. I know.there is and issue and the stator is probably bad, but my concern is should I.be.able to ride on this for a few more weeks. Gotta wait for.the.check to get in to get the.new.stator.

...Throw a meter on your battery after each time you ride. If it's always in the 12.5 (give or take) volt range, you should be good. If it's draining and leaving it undercharged after you ride, you'll have problems.

Why is that a problem? Seems fine.

I was told that when its being throttled that the charge should go up to around 14.

Maybe there's something wrong with the regulator in your alternator.

Stator on a bike, I guess it could be a regulator issue though.
