not really looking for a car that's been modified/had alot of work done to it
1993-2002
would really like to stick with the v8/5.7
with a 6-speed but the all might dollar speaks louder here
1996-1999 (few extra mpg always helps) but the all might dollar speaks louder here
any major benefits between the years?

found one 93 Camaro Z-28 all maintenance records, No rust or dents. Original 5.7L motor and transmission ~asking 2k
and then also found
a 1997 3.6 automatic (still trying to get ahold of this guy to make sure that this was a motor swap with the newer 3.6L 3600 LY7) ~asking 3k
trying to stick with under 4k

suggestions on what to look for?

i wouldn't buy one older than 1998. the headlights on the pre-98 just make the car look fucking retarded imo.

you have to replace everything upfront to get the new style lights. different fenders, hood, bumper etc.

ya 98 was the year the camaros and firebirds both started looking halfway good.

if ur looking to buy a 5.7L V8 stick to a 98-02 camaro/firebird, if u didn't know the difference, the LS1 engine is better than the LT1 (which is the 93-97 4th gen Camaros/Firebirds..stick to a 6 speed Z28/SS camaro (98-02), or try to go for a WS6 Trans Am (98-02)..its not worth it getting the V6, also try to get a T-Tops B) good luck!
