As I posted last week, I had my hood had a million stone chips, So i bought the Dr Color Chip and got some great results. As promised in the thread, I bought the following and got some SERIOUS RESULTS

Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax $19.99

Coupled with the Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash, some invisible glass, and some Chrome Cleaner and Polish, I got a finish to be proud of. The first pic is the hood (can't even tell there was ever a chip, second is in my driveway in the shade, and the last one I took today in the sun (I did the clay on Thursday)

thanks, this was my first time using the clay. Was pretty easy after I got used to it, If its your first time, just go slow at first, I tried to move a bit to fast and it was a pain to get the excess off

does your vette have a cam in it if not it should

I just got it at the end of february. Haven't done any modifications other than pulling the fuse for the bi-mode exhaust. I wan't to get a good amount of it paid off before I start sinking more $$ into it. I've heard cam/headers/intake/tune turns the LS3 into a monster, but the 436 HP and stock tune is plenty for now

Looks good! Intake and exhaust would be high on my list though.



I removed my cam. It robs HP and adds weight.

You don't have any before pics do ya? Were the chips down to primer or just where it scarred the clearcoat?

This is the guy who used the Dr. Color or w/e stuff beforehand. His thread is still in the top 50.
