So my dad is planning on selling his 88 Chevy Camaro, the condition of the interior and exterior is fair. its pretty beat, exterior shows rust, still runs good though. Has about 100k miles, +/- 2-3 thousand.

How much could he get for it?

Just looking for a rough estimate.

z28 / rs / base / IROC (I think they did IROC's in 88, can't remember for sure) ?
convertible / t tops / hardtop?

Best bet is to look around on craigslist at others and price it similar, but answer those questions first, there are always a ton of motor/trim levels on a camaro

My friends IROC was under $5k from what I recall and it was in fairly good shape.
Kinda a low value car but if you live near the right market (Alabama) then maybe you can get more for it.

An iroc will increase the value a little bit, but if its rusty and the interior is in fair shape I would say 2-3k tops. One in great condition would be around 5kiwh

yeah, i just did a car gurus search, only showed 11 nationwide for sale, only 1 was in not so great condition and they were asking 2450, and from the description on yours, you might be a little cheaper.

Being half italtian and from New Jersey, I am partial to IROCs lol
