Ok so the vans gas gauge would alway read full until it got low. The it would say low fuel. Just put a new fuel pump in it with a sending unit and a new float. Fucker just says low fuel constantly any ideas ??

Sounds like the gauge itself to be honest. Did you test the new fuel sending unit before you put it in?

Ya everything checked out fine. From a quick google search it might be the ground or something

Sending unit gas gauge in the gas tank has gone bad and will need to be replaced. The gas gauge wire is grounding out causing you to have full full indicated and when there is no ground you get empty signal.


Maybe that ?? It used to just say full all the time until it got low. Then it would blink low fuel. Now I start it up and it days full. Then drops to low fuel signals beeping at me

I would check your wiring first, if that checks out there's really only one other thing it could be. Should have checked the wiring while you were in there though. lol
