We have this old Dodge Caravan that is rusting away. It was used as a beater car to deliver set up stuff to farmers markets. Tables, chairs, coolers, etc.

I don't know if it runs, but I wouldn't doubt that I could get it started eventually.

How much could I get for this car?

Depends on how badly it's in disrepair. If it's in such condition that it would take more work than the average layman / non-car person would be willing to DIY it, sell it for scrap / few hundered, imo.

That's what I meant.

The car is not really worth driving. Interior is just done, and exhaust pipe is rusted in half.

So, possibly up to $500 if I'm lucky or less?

Check out whatever used vehicle classifieds you have in your area, and limit your search to $500. Chances are that there will be running, drivable vehicles for that price.

The odds of you getting $500 for a complete piece of shit are pretty slim.

Well, anything is better than nothing. I'm just optimistic to get it off the property. Looking to get my fiance her first car, and this will just add to her down payment.

if you donate it you should get a write off for the book value of the vehicle on your tax returns for this tax year.

also if you junk it i think it will bring like 300-400 dollars probably.
