I am just finding out about this section, not sure how many in here have seen my donor forum post or have access so I will post it in here as well.

I am restoring a 1964 DIVCO milk truck for our 50/60s theme business. It is for liquid nitrogen ice cream. All organic and made to order. We wear the full on milkman uniform, captains hat and all.

I will post everything on the build but if people are interested in the whole business too ill update everything.

Hopefully moderators won't mind me posting back to back photos.

Yes! Please post the build as it progresses! This sub forum always needs more build threads.

Love the idea, love the vehicle, cant wait to see it unfold.

Starting to remove first layers of paint. Used paint stripper.

Front end getting closer.

Drivers side front pillar. Rough shape rust rotted through.

Back doors obviously, has a 4 X 4 hole on the passenger side right above the tail lights.

Rust on passenger side front fender. Has same rot on both sides.

My buddy drove to another state to pick this up. That's him right before he was headed back here in California. Purchased in Eugene Oregon.

Back to progress!

Inside is all painted brown. Later in my updates you will see how much improved it is as it sits now.

Front end paint mostly removed.

Getting work done!

So at this point we already had most paint removed.

Then....

One of my clients said, get why don't you bring it to my shop and ill soda blast it for you for cheap......

So I wasted a lot of time and money when it could have been done in a day or two.

Pulling out the old beast. Was seized.

Bought a 4bd2t Isuzu from that guy. 3.9 liter turbo diesel. We are waiting on our adapter plates so we can switch that old shitty transmission with a 4L80E Chevy.
