i cant stand not having my cobra any longer so im going to bring it to cali

but my question is since there is no 93 out here what can i do for an alternative

i have heard of just using octane boosters but ive never personally used them so i have no idea if they actually work or what not.

if i cant find anything it looks like im granny driving the cobra for the next year.

Is it possible for it to be tuned to run on 91? If not it looks like octane boosters it is. Why no 93 though...?

California does not sell 93 at all. i would rather not spend another 450 and wait for eric brooks to come back to the stl for a re tune.

but my real question is if i mix 91+a booster what does it come out too im lookin on google but this shit is weird

Long story short your going to need to retune lol. Swap to e85 though not 91 if you can.

i havnt looked into the E-85 out here yet but its somthing im trying to stay away from for right now seeing as how everything to do where im at is 1+hrs away and i get shitty fuel milage as it is

Id avoid ethanol like the plague with an expensive car like that unless its tuned for it...granted all the gas I see is 'up to 10%' ethanol regaurdless. You could try pure-gas . Org, maybe there's a gas station close to you that would have good fuel?

Pop into a local auto store and read the labels on the octane boosters, I'm sure you'll be able to figure something out.

if i do go e85 i will have a new fuel system with a new tune i just dont really want to pay fora retune for 91

You really don't have any other option if you're not going to have access to 93. Besides, you can make alot more power on e85.
