Hey I was looking to buy a new truck and I was thinking of buying this Toyota Tundra. It's got dents all over but other then that everything works and its in great condition. I want to get most of the dents out myself, but I don't think I can get them ALL out myself. My question is how much do you think a body shop would charge to remove a few dents after I get them mostly out, how much if they do all the dents, or would i actually have to have the panels removed and swapper out?

that's the vehicle.

Good God what did he hit? I'm not sure on cost all of my professional body work is on fiberglass semi trucks. But I do my own personal body work...and can tell you this is a LOT of body work. If you do it yourself be careful. Its easier to fix a low spot than a high spot. Its going to be hard to judge, because there are no body lines left.

All I have to say is good luck. Better you than me lol.

As a body guy I'll tell you this will be your easiest route.

Get a used:

Drivers door
Rear passenger door
drivers front fender

The bed, and the drivers passenger door will be able to be fixed pretty easily. The things I listed though, no way, you're waaay better off getting new panels.

You can probably learn the DIY route on the remaining body panels, and once you swap over the fender and doors you can send it off to paint.

If you do most of the work, it won't be too horribly expensive.

And as a rule, a lot of body guys I know charge 100 dollars a dent. Regardless of size (for the most part)

what the fuck, did someone steal that truck and do a demolition derby? I literally do not understand how there are dents all over that poor truck.

I sure as fuck wouldn't buy it, probably has more underlying issues

I'd be getting 3 new doors a new fender and MAYBE a bed. I'd get a quote on the dent in the bed and compare to the price of a new bed.
