5 cases of this happening...recalls over 3 million cars to fix it for the sake of the owners.

ya i think its safe to say that they are still top end quality and reliability considering even though its only been reported 5 times they are willing to fix 3.4 million vehicles.

just look at honda...they had 1 reported case and they are recalling 1.1 million vehicles based on such a tiny tiny chance of it happening again.

anyone who thinks this takes away from their credibility is just being a dumbass because thats some INSANE care for your customers right there.

Any time i see recalls i think back to the early 2000's when those bridgestones were exploding and flipping peoples SUV's.

But ya, what subwoofer said in a nutshell.

lol, did you even read it? 5 cases of this and they recall it.
You're making your assumption about imports on 5 cases of airbag malfunction?

I should make an assumption that you're an dumbass for this 1 case of stupidity.

That was a serious problem... I still don't buy bridgestone or firestone.

I think if anything you should blame takata, not Toyota or Honda, for this situation... What we have here is a failure in inspection and testing by the company manufacturing the airbags.

Still, 5 known cases for cars built a decade ago is nothing.

its not even about the manufacturers themselves. its an independent company that they all get their airbags from. thats like saying ford sucks because their tires were blowing up when it was a part from firestone not ford.

If anything, its GM and BMW that is on the line. The manufacturer claims there were some in those 2 companies yet they haven't taken any action yet
