Not much of a mechanic but I had a question for you fellas,

I was looking for a 7.3 ford truck recently and came across a 6.0 diesel that was a really good deal.

I've heard they have problems was wondering If I would better off waiting for 7.3 truck (tough to find here).

I'm going to have fun with this one, hang on.

To stay on topic before i rape this though, Yes, the 6,0 had some very very stupid issues. Heads warping, studs stretch like rubber bands, turbos, egr, oil cooler just to name the more common ones.

Lol very nice. Please wait for the 7.3. Don't get a diesel that Ford made. Stick with the international and you will be happy. 7.3 was one of the best diesels made IMO. I've got his little brother the 6.9, though it lacks power its tough as nails. 87 f250 with 250k, and haven't ever replace anything. Not an alternator, glow plugs, literally nothing other than oil changes are air filters.
