My Tuned OBD-I ECU will not feed the scanner anything, It's aftermarket in my 97 Prelude but when I plug a scanner into it nothing pops up.
When I disconnect it, it will than say missing link so it knows its plugged in when I have it in. but i just "works with the car" forever until unplugged.
I have used my scanner and brought it to two car places and no luck.

chipped or standalone?

Just a standalone i'm pretty positive, It was already in the car when I bought it last june. I have the stock one too.

What scan tool are you using out of curiosity?

I just have a cheap ass Actron so i wasn't surprised. But when I took it in to two different places and it didnt work and they both had no idea why thats when it through me off...

never used one, but try it on an other char to see if it works properly first

either ur scanner is broke or the system was not setup correctly simple as that

I've tried 3 different ones... as said.
And would resetting my ECU do anything?
