Damn tire popped. Got a plug put in it and a can of fix a flat, but if got about 5 hours till home and all the shops around here for a new tire are closed. Any chance I can ride it the rest of the way out?

if its not leaking now then whats the problem? just kind of be aware when you first start riding to make sure the fix a flat isnt going shift around and possibly cause you problems. i dont think it should but doesnt hurt to be careful at first.

Alot of people my friend included have ridden 5000km(3000 Miles) on a plug, shouldnt be any issue. Personally I never felt comfortable riding on a plug as I was always thinking what if, so I changed my tire when I got a nail even though it was only like 2000km

I would never advise someone to put fix-a-flat in a bike tire. They've got that green goo stuff, or regular tire inflater which is just canned air. Fix-a-flat takes a few days to dry all the way, and whoever changes your tire will be PISSED.

With only 2 tires, I would be wary, especially if its the front. The rear going out is a lot easier to control. I wouldn't recommend it, take it slow if you do chance it...

Front tire? I wouldnt even risk it. It's a ticking timebomb.
Back tire? It'll be fine for a season depending on your riding habits. I personally wouldnt risk it with my riding style / roads, but to each their own.
