I plan on trading in my Tacoma for a new car. It's getting up there in miles, and I might as well trade it in while it still has some value. My plan is to trade it for new gas saver car (less than $25k), and buy a $3k-$5k truck to haul my bike. I was going to just trade it in on a new F-150, but I think it would be smarter, and cheaper, to buy a car as my DD and a beater truck.


The car I'm interested in the most is the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo

No, it's not the fastest car on the road, but I'm looking fora DD, not a sports car. And, it still has a little "pep"


I found one near me, and they're asking $23k. I test drove it the other day, and absolutely loved it. It's very comfortable.

The FRS was my first option. Then I found out it requires premium fuel. Which defeats the whole purpose of me getting a gas saver. And, I can't find an automatic around me to test drive. . . screw a manual.

you should learn to drive a 5/6speed before you buy a new car imo
better gas mileage can be your excuse, and a more fun car can be your reward
