So yea... pretty much what the topic says. Guy is selling it for 400$. One headlight doesn't work (he doesn't know why), and sometimes the blinkers don't work (he doesn't know why this is either).
I was thinking I could pick it up, put a turn signal switch on it, or find where the wires go dead and repair, etc...
I don't think its too bad of a deal considering I can get around 350+ for it in scrap if I'm not able to get it road worthy.
Other things.... I've seen it on the road during the day. I've heard it run... sounds sturdy. 5.0 I believe. It doesn't LOOK rusty, but the interior is absolutely disgusting. Some old slob has been driving it.
So yea.. theres that. I'll post some pics of whatever work I do to it. These pics will be via an ancient flip phone camera, sooooo not too pretty.

Doesn't sound like there's too much to lose, it's a 400 dollar truck, drive it till it's done.

My plans exactly.
I'll throw a few bucks at it to get the lights working, but other than that... probably not going to worry about much.

Step 1: Pull current motor
Step 2: Sell it for what you can get
Step 3: Save up moneyz
Step 4: With saved money buy a new/rebuilt 300 I6
Step 5: Watch body rot away until 300 I6 and driver seat are the only thing left on chassis.

money well spent!

Only if current motor goes south.

Heres hoping I don't hit any snags getting it registered, or any crap with the dude selling it. Picking it up around 4pm. I'm kind of excited. :D
