I drive a 1994 acura legend GS. Needing some help picking parts for my exhaust (rebuilding it). I have replaced headers before and have no issues with the wrench work... I'm just needing parts picked. I have already upgraded my intake and have a performance chip on the car.

What I'm looking for.....

I will for sure be using this OBX kit -> http://www.erzperformance.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=obx100&gclid=CKm41rnN57UCFVSVMgodiloAUw. Includes gaskets ( for new headers , Y pipe to get rid of my pre cats)

So I will just be keeping the original B pipe.... This is a 2 and 1/4th inch inlet and outlet....(Only way to find another one of these with a 2.5 inch inlet / outlet is custom made :( ... ) Now I'm needing a muffler that will match up with the B pipe... and a muffler tip?

Does anyone see any issues with the diameter of the piping? The straight pipe (replacing my cat) is 2.5 inches , my B pipe is 2 and 1/4th inches.... Correct me if I'm wrong but ill need to get it welded ?

I do NOT need a cat. I live in an emissions free zone and a cat isn't required. Lucky me! :)
Anyways thanks for the help!

/EDIT MORE INFORMATION.

I AM NOT USING THE TYPICAL STOCK 3.2L ENGINE. I have a v6 3.5L hybrid swap in with performance cams , retainers , and valve springs. Love this car just looking to redo the exhaust. Not looking to street race or get amazing horse gains out of it. I can tell there is an exhaust hiss so its time to rebuild. I already need to pull apart and clean my egr pipe / valves so why not add another project right? :P

CSB version of what I need assistance with....
I know the straight pipe is 2.5 inches and the 2 and 1/4th B pipe are both bolt on but with the diameter difference would this cause HORRIBLE back pressure or a lack of seal between the two? Also I'm needing help finding a muffler that would fit my car nicely for under 700$.... A lot of them say they will fit universally but I doubt it... As well as a muffler I'd obviously need a muffler tip. Thanks guys.

I highly doubt the 1/4 inch drop will do anything noticeable. My car goes from 3" to 2.5" and I noticed no difference from open headers (3").
As for the muffler just find something that looks like it'll fit. If it's going in the stock location try to find a catback for your car and go from there?

Remus and stormung are the only two that make close to OEM catback mufflers and one is HELLA overpriced at 700$ (this one isn't made anymore but some shops have it in stock) and the other isnt made and cant be found anymore hahahaha. So I've been shopping around. I guess ill just have to pull my muffler off and measure everything to ensure itll fit? Thanks for the help.

Exhaust is one of the few things that you get room to be creative sometimes. Look around and see what you have to work with. The way that your exhaust is mounted now will give you an idea. Post a few pictures if you need detailed help.

My main concern was the bolt on straight pipe going to the B pipe . I didn't want backflow of any sort :P. I should be fine with the muffler / tip thanks a lot for the help!
