to put you guys in the context, here in quebec the provincial government is revamping the law 101, witch is to protect the french language.
this includes but is not limited to, Stores signs:ex Staples is Bureau en Gros here(means office wholes sale kinda), services must be offered in french, english/italian words in a food menu, on/off labelled buttons in the kitchen ( yes some restaurants have been fined for having the factory on/off labels on their stove in the kitchen lol)
but now they seem to be going overboard and giving severe fines all around the province.
here is a segment from Bob Gratton weekly show that shows a government agent going to his garage to make sure everything is as should be according to law 101( mocking the present situation)
here you can see his sign completely covered with new text in french and then the agent leaves his car for an oil change and records them to make sure they speak in french ( the language of work must be french)
so hes trying to ask for a ratchet btu cant say the word ratchet, once he checs it is in french in his dictionary, his helper has no idea wat it is with the french word.
+they working on the rear for oil change? dumb as french mecanic!
