Now that i've paid off most of my debts I'm going to be allowed to purchase my dream car


I have NO idea where to begin looking, in Ontario Canada cars that are at least 15 years old are considered "collector" cars and can be imported I believe ( not 100% sure ) so i think this covers up to the car year date 1998


Where do I look ? price comparisson? shipping costs etc?

Try somewhere in the states. I know guys who've bought vehicles in Canada and they paid outrageous prices, not sure why they are higher there than the US.

try local listings or e - b - a - y

or look up some places that import or sell jdm cars, if they dont have one they might be able to point you in the right direction. my question is does it need to be rhd?

no, but they stopped making rx-7s in 1995, and the ones that are 92-95 ( FD ) in NA are ridiculously expensive....

What about a first gen?

The FDs are cool, but as you're finding out, mad expensive..and most are beat...

I routinely help my friend wrench on his 84 .

The GSL is dope because it has a LSD. And the 12a/13b motors are really pretty cool to work on. And parts easily swap between model years.

Some people hate on the rotary, mainly because they don't understand them for the most part. But man are they pretty neat little machines.

His Rx7 is a really clean completely original stock example that I will paint for him in the Spring.
