not ''new'' but in terms of a more fuel economic car.

i currently own a honda civic 2000 ex automatic , great condtion and can easily get 4grand if not 5.

with that in mind, can 5grand give me a better economic car than that of my honda?

or what car do you guys recommend if i go up in my price a bit.
