I doubt the GTR is that much more expensive in the end.
A guy I used to work with had a similar Jeep and he had a good bit invested into it. It wasnt too close to 1000HP either, still fast for a big SUV.

doubtful, get a used jeep srt8 witha 6.4 hemi for less then 30k, supercharger kit is like 7k, the one in the vid didnt sound like it had one / sounded more like turbo. a turbo setup would be substantially cheaper.

i bet for less then 40k you get 1000hp on a 6.4 hemi. assuming you do most of the work yurself

doesnt take much to make alot of power with loads of turbo boost and a pissload of methanol to match.

Theres your issue. you assume things. First off, the gtr isn't made just for drag racing. it has a nice balance of speed and handling. Try it on a track. bet you the jeep will flip.
