Ok I have a Saab 2006 Saab 9-3... Trying to hook up subwoofers. Ran the wire through my car fine... Hooked the wire up to the battery all that stuff, reconnected it and it was fine. Started the car everything seemed to be fine.
Alittle later on in the day I went out to the shop for something, I noticed my Radio wasn't on and I got no sound for the blinker.
As you may know when you disconnect the battery with a Saab, the radio head unit locks out for some anti theft crap. The problem is the radio is getting power but the display LED screen thing is just dark, nothing is being displayed. When I use turn signals, I also get no sound.
Any help is appreciated, my brother and I tried many things, checked the fuses and nothing worked there. Could the head unit have crapped out? Maybe we checked the wrong fuses?
Does your head unit have a fuse built into it? Have you checked relays for the premium sound if your car came equipped with it. And just because a fuse looks ok sometimes this isn't the case, I had to find that out the hard way. Try replacing your fuses to see if you get your LCD screen to pick back up, if not I can further help you diagnose this problem due to myself having the same issue before. Also ground your equipment very properly.
