Why do they take such pride in fart cannon, 4 cylinder cars, with spoilers the size of park benches?

i have this one friend on facebook that literally posts pictures of his lowered 2001 maxima with the stupid bent rims shit, and he thinks its the best thing ever. when i try to point out the stupidity of his ways, he bitches and moans and says its a "culture".


someone explain ricer mentality to me...

theres a difference in lets say, a nicely modded brz and a g35 with a japanese arch style wing, with a can of pebbles stuck in his mufflers... i just dont get it..

I'd say its mostly about money, and partially about creativity.

Or the lack there of.

you cant call slapping on a wing that looks like lebron james can lay down on "creative" lol

why piss the money away when they should be saving up for a non shit car?

imo its their way of trying to make a road course looking car without actually having one lol. also they are dumb

You can build cool cars for cheap, it just takes a little imagination.

If your talking about stanced cars then it really is a culture.

It's not about performance, it's about making your car look a certain way.

Part of this culture is very much to piss off people who don't understand it. If you don't like it, don't pay attention to it.

but why have such an ignorant culture where its intent is to piss off others? its impossible to ignore it when theyre flocking to every super market parking lot with their "meets"

does their culture also incorporate being blatantly retarded? or is that just something they develop from the lies they tell themselves constantly that their cars are "cool" ?
