ill ge a vid up in spring of what it sounds like once the snow is cleared out.

but i got bored one day after work so i put my car up on my lift, bent some stainless pipe, andreplaced the muffler and resonators on both sides with stainless pipe.

its running just 2.75" pipe from the cats back now.

mufflers and resonators are uselss imo.

sounds likea real hemi now.

once its warmed up it idles very quiet, just a slight rumble, but, get on the throttle, it screams lol.

2.75 is a bit big for duals isn't it? At least for the amount of power you're putting out.
Wiggle room is always nice though I guess.
I want stainless for mine, but I live in Florida so the car never sees salt or anything.

are you serious? what do you consider a real hemi? im hoping you arent comparing it to the heads from a 426 hemi. hemi today is nothing more than a trademark. not to mention it wasnt even the first big 3 hemispherical head

I have seen real world gains from various custom intakes & whether made out of pvc or expensive aluminum I consider a well built DIY setup alot less ricey than spending $300+ on a chrome setup that performs worse than the factory one
