So, I'm wondering about the possible implications of running Sea Foam as an oil treatment and fuel treatment simultaneously. I know from experience it's a good treatment either way, but I've never run them in the fuel and the oil at the same time. Thoughts?

I've done them both at the same time and it went fine. Just remember to change your oil 50 miles or so after you do it.

Yeah, I've already purchased two oil filters and changes of oil. I'm just trying to be sure nothing chaotic is going to happen with it coming from both ends. The car ran great last time I cranked it, but it's been sitting for about 2 months, so these are all precautionary measures. I had an explorer sitting for about this long last year and when I put it back on the road it blew after 200 miles.

Only way you'll mess it up is if you don't follow the directions correctly. Read it through and it'll be fine.

lol yeah. Ran fine til the rear end went out. 2 months later, I replaced the rear end, changed the oil, filled it with gas. DD'd it to work and after about 200 miles it started knockin on the way home and slung a rod 4 miles from the house.

it was just its time to go was all. motor was probably already ragged out. a guy that works with me has an explorer i think its early 2000 and it sat for probably 8 or 9 months and we just sprayed some ether in it and got it started up and hes driving it everyday again. he actually had to have a rear end put in his also.

also he drove it out to our garage and we were changing oil and spark plugs and stuff and like 3 of the plugs the porcelain just crumbled lol. he said he had told his wife to get a tune up done on it but she never did she just drove the fuck out of it.
