so my trucks out of commission for the next couple weeks until i get around to fixing it
i COULD replace the battery and move it but meh
its in a lot where i have the permission of the property owner but a buddy told me someone is trying to get it towed ( ive had the cops there and explained the situation )
my question is, its kind of diagonal in a corner with the parking break on if that matters.

with other obstacles in the way there is no way a flatbed could get in so my question lies with a traditional tow truck getting it when im not around.
i assume they dont know its fine to be there so if there is a way this person some how gets a truck there when im at work or something
can he get it out without causing damage? and will i just be liable for the damage?

If they want to get it, they'll get it. Whether that means dragging it out of the corner or not.
Your best bet is to get it fixed asap. If I were you I would put a note explaining the situation over the vin in the windshield.
In most cases they aren't liable for the damages done.

Put a note in window saying you have permission by the PROPERTY OWNER to have my car here, and leave his name and # if you have any problems.

Why would someone be else trying to have it towed when its not on their property?

This.

Pretty sure they can't tow it unless they have property owners permission anyway. Not positive though.

Would say leave both yours and Property owners number in windshield (not situation)

Im going to assume its probaly in a "lot" that involves many other stores and hes not actually the "property owner" , but rather than the store owner. But i would assume your still entitled to some of the spaces outfront, of course depending how big or small this "lot" is.. overall though im sure the actual property owner who runs the lots and stores has the final say. Having a broken down car sit outside the businesses for weeks isnt exactly appealing.

Than again this might not even be the situation, but if someone else cares enough to try and get it towed I would assume it has to do with a public place that has traffic going in and out

actually its kind of like a horseshoe of businesses and the lots on the side. my trucks in the back corner, and its mainly used for employee parking its also down a one way street so unless you are already looking
to the corner you arent going to see it when you pass by. technically the parking belongs to none of them and none of them are entitled to any of it.
dicks will be dicks though.

Sucks. Techinally than your truck is parked on public street than or a public lot. So permission from the "property owner" wont do anything really, since he isnt really the property owner, im assuming anyway, dont know the actual area lol.

Dicks are dicks though. I would put the battery in and just move it or whatever before you cause yourself an issue down the road. People just want something to complain about and feel powerful.
