I got a 1985 suzuki 185 i bought off a co-worker. Guy he originally bought the bike off didnt have an ownership

I bought to play with during the winter at the shop but i actually have alotta fun on it and wanna get a plate for it so i can take it ice fishin

What im wondering is how hard is it/ is it expensive/ is it possible/how do i go about gettin it

did they even have titles on them then? and also what kind of plates are you getting? in kentucky they arent legal to be on the highway.

Im canadian from the country. We can ride on roadways as long as we have insurance and a plate(plate is given to by MTO)

And if a bill of sale is required i can get one no problem

the best way to find it out is to chec with wat ever plating society you got in your province, they will give you the right information and tell you if its possible to plate/inssure it after all those years
lots of patrols here in quebec, i wouldnt sugest riding trail witouth a plate

Ty , and i dont plan on riding without one , there's alot of patrols here in Ontario too and they got some BIG bikes

With a bill of sale you should be alright. Here in ca you would just file for a lost title and its a fairly simple process.
