Apparently mustang is notorious for these going bad, and mine just did. Clutch screams !

Anyone ever done one before, any tips ? Not the hardest job, but just curious of any common problems i may run into.

Did one on my bros mustang one time that had seized itself in pretty good. Nothing a good ole torch and slide hammer couldn't fix.

Pretty straight forward job though.

The hard part is removing the transmission.

Once that's out of the way, changing the TOB is about a minute procedure.

No common problems, just make sure (if the TOB had sides) the correct side is facing outwards.

Also don't forget to throw a little grease on both the input shaft of the transmission and a little in the pilot bearing pressed into your crank.
