So my Tension rod on the passenger front had the top joint ripped off...

I need to get my GF from work at 11:30 so I'm basically wondering if it would be okay to drive 15 miles to get her.

Assuming I drive 25-30 MPH

My point is I'm not trying to cause anymore serious damage, not sure how vital this part is and I'm asking knowledgeable people if it would be wise to drive 30 miles the way it is.

Don't drive with broken suspension components...

Are you saying the rod is completely detached from your lower control arm?

if so....one wrong pothole, and you could be finished.

Also, especially bad if the vehicle is front wheel drive.
