If you saw who the op was, you knew what you were clicking on. I've been a Mustang fanatic my entire life, so I'm a bit biased. Still, I don't think it makes much sense logically to hate them? What's so "douchey" "ghey" or "junk"ish about the longest lasting, top selling, top rated muscle car in the world? Do you people really think Carroll Shelby and Jack Roush arbitrarily decided to love Mustangs?

Personally, I'm of the opinion that you kids raging against the Mustang machine are jealous, but I wonder if just one of you can give me a legitimate reason to trash talk Mustangs. Also, I really think if you go into someone's thread and trash talk the car they love, you're not a car enthusiast. I even try to tolerate the jdm kids, despite my complete failure to understand the fascination.

Mustangs aren't great nor bad. Their looks are okay but when you see 1 every 30 seconds when driving down the road they kinda lose their appeal.

Thats just my opinion though.

this is a pretty stupid reason to dislike the car IMO. I personally never see 2013's around here, and don't even hardly see that many 2011+...... Just like any car as the model gets older, the cheaper they get. Consequently you'll tend to see lots of foxes and the older style mustangs, but that's because they are generally great bang for your buck. Just like with the very first model of 350z's, they are super cheap now and can be found anywhere..... doesn't mean you shouldn't like the car lol.

I've heard this before, but it doesn't particularly bother me. I like to see the unique features of each one. I think mustang owners tend to put more of themselves into their cars than most.





There had to be a lot sold to start with in order for there to be a lot around now... Just a thought that occured to me.

I'm not a mustang hater by any means nor any vehicle make or model. I respect anyone who takes pride in their car no matter what it is.

It's not ford, or the car itself that gave mustangs a bad rap, it's the drivers.

You don't think the same could be said of any car model? I've never personally met a Corvette owner who wasn't a dick, but I don't think that means every Corvette owner is a dick... And the jdm kids in my town are a bunch of little cocksuckin daddy's boys, but my best friend in the last town I lived in drives a turbocharged integra... I helped him build it.

don't take it personnel, how many people hate on civics? its just a mainstream car and anything mainstream gathers tons of haters, be it a civic, mustang, camaro, or lil wayne.
