Im getting this odd sort of miss, but i really dont beleive its my tranny.
Can an O2 sensor cause it to not get that "peel-out" power?
I floor it and it goes, but it starts of real slow and over revs slightly, then slowly gains speed.

I had the CPU check'd and it has some error messages with Ventilation problems and O2 sensor problems, but i dont want to replace a O2 sensor on a car that doesnt really need it to run right.

it very much needs a properly functioning O2 sensor to run correctly.

if you had it code checked then fix the problems the codes tell you...thats the entire reason they have code checkers.

The O2 sensor may not be the only culprit, but it is one of the major causes of the issue you mentioned.
I'd say check your exhaust for leaks/blockages as well.

id say intake if either of them probably. would be better if he could tell us exactly which codes were thrown. ventilation and 02 sensor problems dont really tell you much as some of these codes can be thrown for another reason and thats the closest code for it.

I had my exhaust gasket on my eclipse go bad it was all corroded, i was having issues like I could rev the car to like max rpms and it would hardly have power, mainly because it was all being lost before the headers lol

o2 sensor + the intake gasket combo imo. Does it ever feel like it surging or just bogged down?
