Boats are an ENORMOUS part of my life.

Like classic cars, I restore classic boats as well. It was how I remained sane when I was 15 and didn't have my drivers license yet....

Not sure if many people consider boats "motorsports" but anywho, I found a couple cool pictures in my archives while searching my vehicle history.

So for those of you who own boats. Post em up!

Here's my fleet

1959 16.5' Lyman (restored myself) I was an apprentice to an Amish boat builder.

1970 Boston Whaler Nauset

But for as much as I like motor boats I LOVE sailing and sailboats 100 times more.

Next post will be my couple of sailboats.

Here are my sailboats

this is the boat my brother and I race regularly.

International 14 (the entire boat is carbon fiber. And weighs around 70 pounds)

and here's my Laser (painted it to match my MG haha) beater boat

Goofy picture for last.

Sorry if none of you like boats, I was just really jonesing for a sail, thought this might help.

Yeah, I race all sorts of boats.

I've raced Lasers competitively all over, including Canada, so chances are I probably raced her.

But yeah, I'm all about it.

The International 14 averages speeds of around 15-20 mph and 25+ when it's blowing. Sooooo much fun.

I want a laser! Ive sailed one a couple times several years back and it was pretty fun.
We have an Ebbtide 21' bowrider and a pontoon but neither are anything too special.

This is where its at though, stand up jet skis >> boats

Haha! Yep! Boats N hoes!

Okay here's a decent video of what it's like to sail an International 14. I get the feeling people don't know actually how fast these little sailboats go. (these boats have ruined ALL other sailboats for me.)
