Okay, so I recently bought a brand new 2010 Dodge Charger v6...i think 1.8L -- its a woman's car with the face of a mans car haha. I got the whole thing paid off in less than a year because I make MORE than plenty enough money, and now its time to make it a real mans car, and to do this, I want to remove the 1.8L v6 sissy engine and replace it with a Dodge 6.1L v8 Hemi OR convert it to a 6.1L v8 non Hemi. I also want body mod kits to add a hood scoop, door scoops, fender vents, an air splitter, a sun roof (if possible) and 22 or 24 (whatever max for the car is) low profile high performance tires.
I have saved up about 10k to spend, and was starting to do some serious web searching for all the parts I need, and was shocked to see just how ridiculously cheap everything is...I can buy the hood scoop, door scoops, fender vents, and the air splitter for less than 1k. The tires are a different story, about 600 each, but thats no biggie. What I COULDNT find, was a new engine or conversion kit, just websites that offer every part to build a new engine, and this is where you guys come in. Is it possible to have a new engine built for you OR to convert a 1.8L v6 to a 6.1L v8? or do I have to buy the entire parts list and then pay somebody to build the engine for me?
Thanks in advance for any help you guys give
Also, yes, I realize by changing the engine that I will need a whole slew of new items such as bolstered suspension...plz try to keep this on topic.
lol swapping an engine into a v6 charger would be so fucking stupid lol. Total waste of money and not to mention when you go to sell the car you won't get half of the money you pissed away converting the engine/ appearance mods.
also how do you not know what liter your car is? I can sure tell you its not a 1.8 lol
trade car in and get a v8 otherwise your just pissing away money that you dont have. 10k won't cut it especially if your not doing the install yourself
