Need help deciding what Imma do for my truck need.
I've been looking at ~2008 f250's w/ the 5.4l v8 and they seem like they fit the job, but still am looking.
If anyone has any suggestions and what not that would help would be great. I'm looking for something with a big bed, big cabin space, can tow light trailers loaded with atvs, snow skis, small boat, etc etc, and isn't diesel. I'm not opposed to going diesel, but I don't think I need a diesel engine and the expense of up keep and what not isn't worth it since I won't be using it to it's full potential. Anyways any advice is appreciated, thanks.

you dont need a diesel for what your towing..itll tow it with ease lol...

all the trucks are great, its just personal choice, dont listen to that ford is better than chevy etc bullshit. They are all great trucks and youll be happy with any of them..just test drive certain ones and see what you prefer..

Trust me, I have a 4 door sedan with a v6 in it and i tow trailer with dirtbike and atvs on it easily...lol

Yeah I figured, but I never know what I'll be needing to tow in the future. Probably max weigh I'd tow would be ~7000 pounds.

Ford long bed . Or dodge crew cab long bed . Or dodge megacab.

I got a crew cab 1/2 ton dodge which is nice but the bed is short. I want a 5.9l megacab diesel, but can't really justify it with the diesel price right now

It sounds like the op needs both seating and hauling capabilities. I'm a Ford guy. I like what they do most of the time. I try not to nitpick other makers too much, it is just my preference. That being said:

Give the 3.5ecoboost F150 a go. Test drive one. I haven't been able to myself, but with all the videos and whatnot on youtube, etc... They look pretty impressive, and seem to be right up your alley.

See with the f150's you have to compromise cabin space or bed space and I don't really want to do that. =/
