BRZ/frs have open window's/no frame around the window.

So when you open the door, the window automagicly rolls down half an inch. Then rolls back up when the door closes.

This was a frosty morning, opened my door, window goes down, close the door, window stays down.
I can push the window up button and close it once i'm in the car, but now my window is open that half inch wherever i leave my car parked. (unless i go around to the other side of the car and use the window button to close it)

Heading to the dealership in a half hour to get it worked out. <_<

my mustang does that as well, however a half an inch is a little much to roll down, my car only moves maybe a few tenths of an inch.

never had a problem though, i guess ill be next with my luck <_<

My Mini does the same thing. But have had no problems so far. But, I have had problems with the electric rear hatch latch freezing on real cold days.

Service guy said to roll the window all the way down, then all the way up and hold the window up button for 5 seconds after its at the top.
That resets the error/let's the window work as intended again.

Lol he also said its going to happen often in the winter.

At least it's a quick fix :P

It was inevitable that it would happen.

Have you had problems with condensation in lights? That Really seems to be one of the only common issues besides misc cels

None yet, but I have been keeping an eye out on it for sure, seems to be a commonplace issue like you said.
I had to bring the car in this week anyways for an oil change and some obdi software upgrade thingymagoo they keep pestering me to get done.

My mustang does the same, in the 3+ years I have had it I have never had an issue.
Perhaps the BRZ just doesnt have as much power as a Mustang? The window motor of course.
